Raven grew up visiting Haida Gwaii so naturally it was special to celebrate their day with a Haida Gwaii wedding filled with a 70s dress code, a beach ceremony and glamping tents for all the guests to enjoy. With limited resources for weddings on the island, the couple rented a trailer and filled it with all the rented, collected and DIY decor. They drove north from Vancouver and took the ferry over to the island; an insane drive that was worth it for how they were able to create a truly unique celebration.

To be a part of this truly magical wedding day was an honour. Raven and Peter wanted their photos to feel nostalgic and a mix of film and digital. It was so fun being able to create these memories for them. Please enjoy a little snippet of how I captured their day:
