We woke up bright and early to trek out to Kara & Aaron’s favourite spot for their dreamy Niagara Gorge engagement shoot. They often descent into the gorge and picnic or do yoga on the rocks along the river, so that’s what we did! I’d never been to Niagara Gorge before, and it just so happened to be one of the hottest days of the year. Aaron being a firefighter, knows all too well what can happen when heat exhaustion kicks in so he made sure we were topped up with plenty of water before we set off. It’s such a spectacular place, where the Niagara falls has cut deep into the rock over thousands of years to make the gorge that we see today. There’s so much geological history about the gorge I could bore you with, but instead I’ll leave you with these pretty images from that day.
