Chelsea and Peter threw an intimate and incredibly beautiful wedding at 7 Enoteca in Oakville. It was probably some of the best food I’ve ever had at a wedding and that’s saying a lot; I photograph a lot of weddings. They were introduced to my work from a friend and fellow photographer and we instantly hit it off. Working in fashion, Chelsea wanted a simple and timeless vibe but with trendy and unique pieces. She really hit it out of the park; modern and sophisticated meets trendy set in such a unique restaurant.
Cabo to Toronto: How’d you decide on your venue and what was most important when planning?
After canceling our much anticipated destination wedding in Cabo, it was important to us to share a place with our friends and family that had meaning to us. Since making the move to Burlington/Oakville, 7 has been a staple restaurant for us. We’ve gotten to know the owner and team quite well so it felt like a natural fit to have our wedding at 7 Enoteca. The inside is breathtaking and the interior barely needed any decor so this helped with our 3 month turn around.
The most important thing to us was ensuring we could celebrate with our closest friends and family. After a few years of shifting plans, this really became the forefront of planning our day and really is the most important thing anyways! Excellent food and drink was also super important and we always wanted to share a place that is special to us, whether that was in Canada or abroad!

Don’t sweat the small stuff, it’s not in the details. What is important is the people you’re surrounded by! No one will remember small things but people will always remember how they felt!
