I’ve been wanting to document honest connections between couples on an intimate level. Sometimes it’s easy to settle into a routine of documenting the same thing over and over, going through the motions and ticking off poses from a mental list I’ve compiled. Challenging myself to get a little bit uncomfortable and shoot outside of what I am used to shooting has opened up doors for growth both in my business and in my personal life. This is the first in a series of new work I am excited to share with all of you. Meagan & Darryl are an incredible couple, with a very honest love. We spent the morning together in an amazing old industrial Toronto loft. I hope one day their children and grandchildren see these images and feel the love and beauty they had for one another and I hope by showing these images to the world I am able to document more personal connections like this.
