From the first moment we met at their engagement shoot in the mountains in Alberta I have felt a strong connection to Kayleigh & Siam. They’ve treated me like a longtime friend and welcomed me with open arms into their lives. Si proposed to Kayleigh on a ski lift in Alberta, so it was only fitting that they had a Skyloft wedding. Despite the rain, we were able to create some beautiful images to remember their wedding day and were able to escape to Kayleigh’s family cabin. Just us three and the rain hitting the window. They weren’t afraid to be themselves, and that’s what I love the most about them. They are real. Most of the decor was handmade by the couple and the maple syrup was made by Kayleigh’s father at their cabin in the woods.
