The Most Important Part of Planning Their Wedding
We wanted to have a day that was relaxed and fun, and to make sure we could spend time with our family and friends and enjoy it as stress-free as possible. We just wanted to be true to ourselves as much as possible, and to share the things we enjoy most with our guests.
Deciding on Cote de Boeuf for their Reception
We’ve loved Cote de Boeuf for so long, they’re in our neighbourhood and our friends work there (shoutout to Katie and David!). We knew it would be a super special, intimate evening with the most incredible food and drinks, happily chatting and indulging into the night.
About Kristina’s Wedding Day Fashion and Beauty Look
From the beginning, I knew I wanted a giant flower crown. To balance it out, I decided to look for dresses with simpler lines/shapes and on a weekend trip to NYC, I found my dress at BHLDN. I loved how the fabric draped and the modern Grecian feeling it had. To cover up the waist seam and for a little sparkle, I got a little crystal and gold belt as well. Since it was sleeveless, I also got a black leather motorcycle jacket from Aritzia that had similar simple lines, with gold accents to match.
