I'm a nontraditional, documentary photographer and storyteller based in Toronto.
Daring Wanderer serves to capture things a little differently: the organic, fleeting, intangible moments. Best suited for nontraditional & creative individuals who share an appreciation for beautiful landscapes, interesting light and quiet moments. There is something humbling about being trusted to tell someone's story and I'm grateful to each couple, family and individual who chooses me to be their storyteller.
Before becoming a photographer I was en route to complete my PhD in music cognition in children. While transitioning careers, I did research with children with autism at London Children's Hospital. I've been running my business and photographing love stories, families & editorials full-time for the last 12 years. It's been the best 12 years of my life and I'm so thankful for that young woman and her courage to pursue her passion. I'm eternally indebted to her.
I live in a century home with my husband and two sons. We spend our time biking, hiking, camping, playing outside, cooking and gardening.
