I take a documentary approach to weddings; photographing the day in an honest and intimate way. I want you to look back on your images and remember how you felt in those moments. More than creating epic images, my number one goal will always be to create something meaningful. What I capture is not for me, it's heirlooms for you and your loved ones.

Chateau wedding in Normandy

Our experience with Jess was absolutely wonderful. Upon meeting her for our engagement shoot, she made my (now) husband and I instantly comfortable in front of the camera and it truly felt like we were just there to hang out and have fun. On our wedding day, she not only captured the classic shots effortlessly, but never stopped moving and captured so many beautiful intimate moments and emotions in pictures that I know I will cherish forever. Midweek Toronto Elopement

Photography was a priority for us. We wanted someone with an artist's eye who could really capture the atmosphere and emotion of our wedding day. We loved Jess' style, the way she works with light and shadow, and her attention to detail. As if her photographs weren’t convincing enough, she’s also just a lovely person to hang out with. Working with Jess felt very natural and comfortable. She was great about rolling with the complications of our plans being cancelled due to the pandemic, and worked patiently with us when we had to stay flexible with relocating and rescheduling. Our wedding ended up being very small, but Jess fit right in. She made us feel comfortable in front of the camera (not an easy task!) and we were so amazed with the results. She managed to document all sorts of wonderful little moments that we might not have otherwise seen ourselves. Her photographs are the perfect way to remember such a beautiful day.

Tofino Elopement in British Columbia

We knew we wanted to have a small, intimate wedding, so we started searching on how we could do that. I think Jess may have been the only person we contacted because she encapsulated everything we were looking for (amazing photographer, beautiful style, understood what we wanted, and was able to help us plan).

It was an absolute dream working with Jess. I can't say enough how amazing Jess was; she is so incredibly talented, and has an amazing ability to make us feel comfortable and in our element. She really made the day feel special and that we were being attended to, while also somehow almost staying "behind the scenes" so that we felt like it was just the two of us.

100 Acre Wood Micro Wedding

Since we started talking more than a year before our wedding as well as doing our engagement shoot, working with Jess at our wedding felt so natural. In fact, it felt like seeing an old friend who was just there to enjoy our wedding. We never felt self-conscious and doing our portraits was genuinely fun!
