Cindy & Marcus wanted to do something a bit out of the norm for their engagement photos, so I offered up the idea to hike down into a gorge for their adventurous Tews Falls Engagement. This was the first time any of us had descended down to the base of the falls. It took a couple of hours to hike there and back, but it was worth every slip and fall. We had to cross a freezing river barefoot, which was about knee deep! I almost lost my boot but thankfully Marcus retrieved it before it was swept away. We were so lucky to have the falls all to ourselves. As we hiked back to our cars, the clouds parted for a beautiful sunset. We had about 5 minutes of glorious light before it was gone.
