If you followed our adventure through Matt’s instagram or my instagram then you saw some sneak peeks from our snorkelling adventure in Silfra, a rift which is part of the divergent tectonic boundary between the North American and Eurasian plates. So essentially, we were swimming between continents, how cool! We had more awesome fun exploring around the Golden Circle with Julia and Yuriy Manchik who are amazing wedding photographers from Seattle. It was so wonderful to be able to meet them and hang out all day, driving around the country and doing (some) off-roading in a Land Rover Defender. Sad we only had one day to hangout with them before they left for home, but I guess we’ll just have to pay the pacific north west a visit.
We ended the day near one of Iceland’s geothermal plants, photographing each other and enjoying the beautiful scenery as the clouds parted and we witnessed an epic sunset. Julia and Yuriy’s lifestyle session will be up on the blog soon!
