This intimate Auberge du Pommier wedding surrounded by immediate family is what my wedding dreams are made of: no fuss, simple decor and lots of time to spend with those that meant the most to them. Emily & Adam recently renovated their home and Emily decided that she wanted to be in her own space when getting ready the morning of her wedding. Their home is beautiful and simple with a touch of Scandinavian minimalism. They did a first look near by the restaurant before the ceremony so they could enjoy cocktail hour and share in the celebration with everyone who traveled from far to be there.
They were very conscious where they wanted to spend their money and saved by eliminating a bridal party and keeping the celebration small. Coriander Girl made her gorgeous bouquet and her mom and aunts set up the flowers in simple vases on the table. Emily’s dress was preowned and her brother made a playlist for cocktail hour to keep things casual. I was able to spend a portion of the day with them and document their story. Enjoy!
